O Asian Grill is the brainchild of nightlife impresario, Eric Levin, who since 1993 has been involved with various hotspots including The Chili Pepper (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale & Atlanta), Karma in Atlanta and famed Miami restaurant/lounge Rumi, which he opened with Alan Roth, also a partner in O. Levin’s vision was to create a place where those in the know can go to relax, eat and unwind … essentially a private living room for those seeking substance in a sumptuous, sexy environment. Levin is also the owner of Pro Access, Inc., a sports & entertainment marketing firm working with some of today’s top celebrities in the world of sports, music and film.
During the day O Asian Grill features the Noodle Shop, an upscale but quick and convenient noodle counter; as night falls guests make their way through the rear doors of the Noodle Shop to a remarkable first floor lounge where guests can order sake and shochu cocktails while enjoying sharing portions from The O Grill. Continuing your journey brings you upstairs to dine lavishly while observing the astounding talents of chef, Teruhiko Iwasaki, conjuring up mouth-watering dishes in the Asian style barbecue open kitchen. The bi-level space designed by Scott Kester (who also designed Lotus and Sushi Samba in NYC) features private dining rooms complete with mini bars filled with the latest in Asian wines and spirits.
O Asian Grill introduces a delightfully tasty menu of Asian fare – from traditional Korean barbeque to Japanese sashimi, designed by Jeffrey Klein and the famed Nobuko Kang of Matsuhisha Aspen. By utilizing Sumi, a Japanese charcoal that is made from firing oak and bamboo in a clay kiln at temperatures over 1000 degrees Celsius, O Asian Grill transforms delicate yet flavorful dishes like stuffed mini bell peppers with Kobe beef burger and lotus root with foie gras into culinary works of art.
O Asian Grill and famed mixologist Elad Zvi use the beliefs of the gods and goddesses of enlightenment, love, compassion, and wisdom to create signature cocktails like Sakyamuni, Naru-Kami, Benten, and Juojin. Drinks are infused with rare ingredients like elderflower, pomegranate foam, aloe vera, and zen green tea liquor all to tickle your taste buds and take you to a far away exotic land. |
